My works are that of a personal nature, drawing from dual roles as artist and mother. Playing with opaque and transparent moments of paint, I mimic the tensions between these two lives, reflecting its labor and lush result with the well-tended wildness of garden growth. My paintings are a fragmented, disrupted environment of color that mirrors my own anxieties, triumphs, and missteps that inevitably take place while caring for what you love.

Both raising children and maintaining a small business are made easier through support from a village. I am forever grateful for the support and love I receive in both of these areas of my life.
